(Good movie, loved the music, english dubbed voice acting was decent, and animation quality was superb. The story was pretty cool. Recommanded for any mecha anime lovers.

(I started watching this anime with no expectations, and the first few episodes made me laugh. I was like, "wow, this is so cliche-ish for an action anime...boring!" Then after a few more episodes, I bit my tounge, because for some reason the story just randomly got unique and good. Sweet jet fighter action, and nice story. Surpised me like Argento Soma, well actually several other anime's as well, but what do I know! So, if your looking for a cool action anime involving jets, check this out! (My favorite episode is the sniper episode, I thought that was so cool how a single sniper rendered an entire air base unoperational, very creative and it gave me some good ideas for my story I'm working on!)

(Now this anime surprised me, contrary to others' ratings, I really thought this anime was good. I liked the animation and characters, and story was unique in my opinion. The only thing I'd have to say that I didn't like was the annoying song that little girl in red always sang to the giant elf 'EX-1'. ^_^

(I saw this expecting much more then got. See, I was a fan of the manga, very cool manga (if your looking for a dark theme, bizzare creature/robotic art styles, very violent natured, abstract post apocoliptic storyline! WHEW!) I was hoping to see what I read in my Blame! manga's, but got a weird short sampling of various prime scenes of the storyline. God, what a kick ass anime this would have made!!!! Oh well, I can dream can't I?

(When I saw the cover of Chobits, I said to myself, "ok, i'm not watching this femine anime, it's probibly all about girls trying to get guys, crushes, relationships, and other girlish crap!" My brothers corrected me on this sinfully wrong insult I made on this masterpeice of an anime. They said it was about a robot chick that this guy owns, and her power button is on her crotch. I as like, "!". So, outta pure, just pure curiousity, I watched it. And alone and behold, BAM instantly I loved it, laughed, and cried, yes I cried, at least I'm man enough to admit it! Every episode grew on me one after another, and the humor was great kept me laughing almost every episode. I was so hooked on this show I watch the entire series in a single day [24 episodes]!!!! lol I'm not kidding, this is one of my favorite anime's I've ever seen! Primarily of the story itself. I loved the voice acting, scripts, and animation. The love story was so touching...musta hit a soft spot somewhere in me, for once! For some strange reason this anime makes me feel, very happy! After I watched it for the first time I was in such a good mood for the rest of the week. The ending is my absolute favorite of any anime I've seen. And what would probibly confuse most people about me, is that I'm into th excessive violence, action, mecha-style, evil themes. COMPLETE OPPOSITE! lmao I HIGHLY recommend this anime to everyone, please just don't judge a book by it's cover, give it a try, maybe you love it like it did, or you might litterly stop watching it by the first episode and hate it forever. If it's for you, it's for you. This is a great love story with an awesome ending, that made me smile and cry. I thought Chi was so adorable, I just wanted to somehow just give her a huge ol' hug and steal her, make her my persacom, ^_^!

(I just recently finished watching this one. I knew this was going to be a good anime, I checked on this site on the top 50 anime. I've seen previews for this anime awhile ago, grabbed my interest right away. So, ive been facinated for awhile, so after countless downloads of this anime off bittorrent...each one not working...made Matt mad, Matt smash! I just said "*uck it", and went out to Best Buy and bought it, cost me $80! Ok, so I watched all 13 episodes in one day. (yeah I got alot of free time) The anime started out to be one of the most violent anime's I've ever seen. Seriously, I can't think of an anime that has that much blood in it, maybe berserk, idk. So, the opening scene is this guy looking at his severed arm, bleeding everywhere! Cool huh! Then his head flies off spewling blood everywhere! I wont say any more, but just giving you an example how violent this anime is. The strange thing is that this story is defined as a love story!!?!?!?! So, while watching this, and seeing Nyuu, and everything. Kinda reminded me of another anime, can you guess? Yes, Chobits. Nyuu repeats her name all cute and everything, just like Chi form Chobits. So, I set aside the little similarities between Chobits and Elfen Lied, and watched it for what it is. I found an interesting story, excessive nudity (seriously, I think every episode there is someone fully naked), and great acting. The ending was awesome, blew me away, I rate second next to Chobits ending. But this one left you thinking though! Very cool directing, and music composition. Just an awesome quality anime! I highly recommand this to anyone, who is NOT offended my extreme violence and excessive nudity. Overall, I rate this up there with my top 10 anime. Check it out!

(The first time I saw this anime I was amazed at the quality and character detail of the show. The music definetly grabbed me and pulled me into the beauty and wonder of "the world". But, for some reason the ending and the conflict at the end kinda threw me off. I think I would've liked it more if it stuck to a less bizzare "the world is gonna end thing" and stray more on the adventure and experience of the virtual video game itself. Aside form the conflict, I beleve this was an amazing anime and if you like something unique, adventurious, and hooking, I'd watch this anime.
