Plot Summary: Taking place 10 years after the final Dragonball Z story, Pilaf finally manages to get all 7 dragonballs and makes a wish. Unfortunately for Pilaf, he gets flustered by the presence of Goku and wishes for Goku to be a child again so that Pilaf could "teach him a lesson." Pilaf gets his wish, and Goku is off on an interstellar trip to gather the 7 "Black Star Dragonballs" that can reverse the wish and return him to adulthood.

Comment:
The North American broadcast of the series on Cartoon Network skipped the first 16 episodes, instead opting to show a recap of those episodes called "A Grand Problem", and following the broadcast of episode 64, the first 16 were later aired and referred to as the "Lost Episodes". This branding of the first 16 episodes as the "Lost Episodes" continued with the single DVD and VHS releases.
Unlike the Dragonball and Dragonball Z TV series, DBGT is not based on stories from the original Dragonball Manga.
