posted on by Egan Loo
This year's 21st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 game will have an "Ultimate Universe Mode." The issue is also announcing that Bandai Namco Games will ship for the Nintendo 3DS card battle adventure game on August 7 for 5,690 yen (about US$56). The limited first edition of the game will include five "ultra-powerful" cards.
The Ultimate Universe Mode lets a player "travel the universe with Gokū" in every age of the story. This main mode of the game has the player's avatar embarking on adventures with Gokū to find capsules scattered all over. During these travels, various stories from the first Dragon Ball anime through Dragon Ball GT will unfold, and players can engage in battles. Finding capsules will unlock presents.
Bandai Namco Games released the first Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission game, a Nintendo 3DS port of the 2010 Dragon Ball Heroes arcade card battle adventure game, on February 28, 2013.
