A very high budget anime that didn't live up to it's billing. It starts our really well and builds momentum through the first 13 episodes or so. However after the battle of Trost it suffers greatly from poor pacing, predictability, and poor use of the characters. It ends on a strong note again but not strong enough to raise it's rating above a good. Hopefully we'll get a second season and corrections will be made. This series had the potential to be a very dark, high-action drama and I hope it can get back to it. |

This anime is not for everyone. It's whole purpose is to set a mood and place the viewer at ease. There are some fascinating messages within the series. The animation was some of the best you can see in a series. The characters were well developed and for the most part were not the average cast of characters one would expect in an anime. There were very few cliche moments and that was very refreshing. I would reccomend this show but i know for a fact that it is not for everyone. |

This movie was the culmination of years and years of waiting for a real ending to the anime. It finally gave us the proper manga ending to this section of the story. I really wish they would continue this series in this format cause these are some of the greatest anime movies ever. The second one is the cream of the crop but they are all worth watching. |

This series had a ton of great action. The characters were interesting and they made you want to see how they would escape from their next situation. What kept this series from recieving an excellent or a masterpiece was due to the lack of story. Very few of the episodes linked up with each other and what story existed did not focus around the main characters. |

This series has an oustanding start to it that will ignite all of your anime juices. However, it loses so much steam after the Soul Society story arc and never truly recovers. It does improve towards the end of the Hueco Mundo arc and the final battles against (spoilers)...... Aizen and his top people. By the time the series reaches that point however you would've (if u watched it weekly) sat through months of nonsensical fillers and abrupt story interruptions. In essence a show that starts out as an excellent or maybe a masterpiece simmers down to a good or very good based your tastes. The abrupt ending also didn't help matters too much. |

A very nice story kind of along the lines of Kanon and the likes. Contains many funny moments along with quite a few very touching moments. It is at it's core a romantic comedy but it doesn't have an overly romantic feel about it due to the lack of akwardnesss. The dialogue is laid out in a realistic manner though some of the scenarios are anything but. All and all a great watch, just missed out on excellent. |

Loved the art style and the darker nature of this anime. When the fights happened they were amazing. Only problems with this anime is that major fights were too far apart and Claire's male traveling companion gets pretty annoying after a while. Aside from those two things this is an excellent anime. |

Has probably one of the top three best endings in all the anime i have seen. When the final curtain is drawn and when one reflects on the actions everything in this season and parts of the previous one comes together nicely and makes a bold philosophical statement. One must ask themselves: is it alright to become evil to stop evil? Was kinda sad to see this one end. That coming from myself who usually hates mech series is saying alot. |

Series starts out really good, gets boring for about 20 eps due to fillers/backstories, and then gets very good when they begin their journies towards Edo. It stays good until it is cut off abruptly. |

This series i was really looking foward to and it started out really well with the first two episodes. However, after that it takes a dive towards mediocrity for about ten to twelve episodes. The last 12 episodes compensates for this and the real story begins to take shape and up until the end it keeps the user guessing as to who the real bad guys are. It was a good watch but could have been much better. |

I expected so much from this anime considering it is based off of one of the better video game series out there. However, the anime has difficulty deciding what it wants to be. Does it want to be serious?, comical?, bloody?, or dramatic? In the end it was a series that had its good moments but due to unoriginality and the inability to make a good storyline it falls short of almost everyone's expectations. Its saving grace is that during episodes 6 to 12 it keeps giving the viewer hope that something big and grandiose will happen but doesn't really deliver. Worth watching but I wouldn't waste money on it. |

Kazuma is one of my favorite main characters. He has a certain aura and persona about him that really attached itself towards me. This show had a pretty good storyline and had some great powers involed in the fights. It was also nice to see how Kazuma and Ayano's relationship progressed through the series. The only big thing missing was an in depth look into Kazuma's past but for some that may be an even better thing. I recommend this series for almost anyone. |

I wanted to give this series an excellent grade. I really wanted to. When this show is at it's best it is one of the finest examples of it's genre that you will ever see. The emotional bits can move you to tears, the action sequences can put you on the edge of your seat, and the character development and relationships are handled well. The problem is that this show on too many occasions just stops its story (sometimes right in the middle of its story) to give us episode after episode after episode of mind numbing filler bullshit that has nothing to do with anything. This is the one show that i wish Japan would have used the American model for tv on. If this show would have ran for 24 episodes at a time and then take a half year or a year off and then give us 24 more episodes then each episode would be more impactful and story-charged. As it is now it's just a mess. |

The actual story itself is pretty common: Boy is super powerful and all the girls around him want to jump his bones. What made this one stand apart was the setting and the world that was built around the story. I feel in love with the setting and lore around it. What bums me out the most and the reason why this series isn't rated higher is the fact that it was building up to a sequel and we still haven't gotten said sequel. They left a few holes unfilled and threw quite a bit of new stuff at us on the last episode or two. |

A very well made uncomplicated movie. The action scenes were very well animated and it wasn't afraid to show some gore. The characters were well developed each having their own unique aspects they bring to the movie. The kid can be annoying at first but can quickly grow on ya. All the pieces of the puzzle fit well even though some are not made obvious the above average anime watch should be able to fill in everything with what the director gave to ya. All and all a nice refreshing movie. |

If it doesn't, however, then this show will be another example of the directors/writers not wanting to step on fan's toes. Just end a show the way you want it to end... who cares whether the fans like it or not just do a clear ending. |

This movie uses computer generated 3d animation with very good fluidity and motion. Very few of the motions seem choppy and the style was absolutely stunning at times. Action scenes were well done and were appropriately spaced making the movie very watchable with very little down time. The story as a whole is original but came from various pieces of other movies and shows. All and all an excellent anime movie and worth watching by any fan of science fiction. |

A very interesting story that was a breath of originality. It contained very good comedy but had trouble maintaining it throughout the series. As a whole the timing was good and the animation was what you would expect for this type of anime. All and all a must watch for any anime fan. |

I really liked the psychological aspects of this series. The only drawbacks were that some of the recurring themes were becoming annoying and most of the violence was off screen. This series deserves credit however with its original and at times gripping storyline. |

This anime was a nice breath of fresh air. I loved the darker tone the series took, and the fact that it didn't cater itself to a younger audience is always nice. This show will twist your emotions and force you to think. There are some annoying sections in the show here and there but for the vast majority it is high entertainment and flows very well. |
