I think the title of the Jurassic Park: The Lost World was referencing the Arthur Conan Doyle book The Lost World, which was made into one of the earliest dinosaur movies and then an Irwin Allen movie in 1960 and, much, much more recently, a TV series.

EDIT: Oh, the Tezuka manga was based on the same book too, apparently.
