I've seen it...and i have to say, it makes even less sense than excel saga. seriously, the first thought that came to mind was, "Save Me Jeebus!!!"

PPP 1 was a riot. Really funny. PPP 2 was too much, it grossed me out.
So I won't be buying it when it comes out.

It's been sitting on my desk for over two months waiting for me to get the free time to watch it, though I have to admit that after reading the comments on it, I'm no longer sure I want to watch it.

it's basically a parody of magical girl cartoons. funny stuff, but some of the humor is just so freaking perverted, it's lmost beyond words.
*minor spoiler*
like for example her best friend is a lesbian, who's always trying to get her into bed, and one of her roommates has really huge breasts.

From what I gather, the first half is a parody of the Magical Girl genre. The second half is a parody of the Hentai genre.
It's produced by the same staff who did Excel Saga (including much of the voice talent). That shoud a big indicator as to what to expect from it.

Not quite...
If you've seen Excel Saga, PPP is like an episode from it, just more polarized.. that is, everything that's 'good' about Excel Saga is done extremely well in PPP. Likewise, everything that's 'bad' about Excel Saga becomes that much more glaring.
If you've not seen Excel Saga.. well, in summary it's a series that parodies all sorts of things (from video games and sports anime to live action films).. some of the jokes are quite funny... while others fall flat. Either way, you're stuck with the same 'set' of jokes for the entire episode.
... and then they throw away the old jokes and follow up with a new episode with new jokes.
Same applies to PPP - there are quite a few parodies in the series, but if the parodies aren't suited to your taste... then it's gonna be pretty uncomfortable to watch.

There's a plot about an alien invasion in there, but there's no coherent development of anything.
