Another (TV) Excellent My first horror - usually I cannot get into such stories. Horror often comes off to me as bland, easy scares and such. I really enjoyed Another. You should be patient though: the story really takes some time to set up. The background and ending credit music are very good (the OP is awful haha) and the animation and art pleasing to the eye. Some things that happen may look unbelievable and odd when you first see it, but in the end most things are properly explained and happen with a reason. It's really fun to try to solve the mystery.

Attack on Titan (TV) Excellent This is easily one of the most exciting shows I have ever seen. It has lots of dramatic (and gory, behold!) moments, awesomely choreographed fights, good music, a distinct artistic style and I loved the characters. Some go through some tough character development. The pacing was a bit slow sometimes, though I didn't mind the recaps as much: I could easily skip them if I wanted to. The show also tended to be a bit too over the top in its drama.

Azumanga Daioh (TV) Good Very funny, sweet slice of life series. I especially liked Osaka (Kasuga Ayumu - yay I remember!), but the rest of the cast are great characters too. Azumanga Daioh has a lot of situations where you think: 'Oh, that's familiar, I had this once too' (sometimes taken to the extreme) and also a lot of bizarre situations.
Baby Steps (TV) Excellent
Baby Steps (TV 2) Very good
Barakamon (TV) Good
(The) Beast Player Erin (TV) Very good It took me a couple of episodes to really get into this series, but after a certain point, I was hooked. Erin shines as the protagonist in this show as a smart kid turning into a woman. The artistry of this series is certainly very different and the music is, the 2nd opening excluded, outstanding. The songs are a bit overused, but that's no real crime. While Beast Player Erin looks a bit like a children's anime, it is pretty dark. Its subjects are, besides the maturing Erin, also war, ethics, drama and politics. The series therefore isn't just light and fun, it's also a suspenseful and dramatic series. Speaking of light and fun - and hereby the series' weakpoint: two secondary characters meant for comedic relief aren't really that funny and sometimes annoying. If you can get past that, I can really recommend it. The show is also a bit too slowly paced.

Black Lagoon (TV) Excellent
Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail (OAV) Good I liked this OAV, but would've preferred it if the four (originally) main characters had more time to shine. The maid thing also wasn't really my preferable choice of a sequel, but that's just because she wasn't my cup of tea.
Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (TV) Excellent
Blast of Tempest (TV) Good Great show, with action, humor, intelligence and a gripping storyline. Blast of Tempest is certainly as dramatic as Shakespeare, dramatic music included, but it is never afraid to poke fun at itself. It dragged a little bit in the end of the first half, but don't worry, it never does in the rest of the series. I liked the characters - especially Aika.
Bloom Into You (TV) Masterpiece
Blue Spring Ride (TV) Excellent
Bokura ga Ita (TV) Good Believable romance story, where Yano and Nanami have to deal with the highs and lows of a relationship. Nanami already notices early on that Yano isn't always the sociable, relaxed guy he shows to the world. His past proves to be the source of their biggest problems. The downside of this anime is the pacing - getting slower and slower in the latter half of the series. It is also hard to continue, as the mood gets more depressing by the episode and the same problems keep returning without really being resolved. The animation is very sparse, sometimes it seems that even drawing both eyes was a hassle to the creative staff. The music is appropriate and there are multiple ending songs.

Chobits (TV) Decent
Citrus (TV) So-so I would only recommend this to romance and shoujo ai lovers. Though the main lead is a fantastic character, the show relies too much on shady sexual assaulty scenes and generic manipulative plot device characters.

D.N.Angel (TV) Good One of the first anime I've seen. *Feelings of nostalgia...* It may be a bit generic to some, but I still like the romance and the fantasy elements.
Death Note (TV) Excellent Death Note had me on the edge of my seat within the first two episodes. While the last third of the series is not as awesome as the episodes before it, it remains a suspenseful, thrilling anime with a satisfying ending. Nice to see a protagonist who's (in my opinion) quite an evil being for once. I wanted to hate him, root for him and see what his next move was at the same time.
Death Parade (TV) Good
(The) Devil Is a Part-Timer! (TV) Very good Hilarious and fun characters, with a nice blend of some drama, slice of life and action. Down sides: only a few jokes are a bit overused and I want to see more of this cleverly done series.
Dororo (TV 2019) Very good
Dragon Ball GT (TV) Awful I do not for the life of me remember what this was exactly about - just that they turned Goku into a little kid again (no, why:(?) and they went on an adventure to... eh... yeah. I really watched every episode of this, just to finish it and out of loyalty. My brain probably erased the experience because it was that bad.
Dragon Ball Z (TV) Good Nostalgia button: ON! This was the series I watched religiously when I was young, not knowing what anime was. The tension, the ongoing story, the light moments - yup, I was hooked. Nothing like it (in terms of animation series) existed on tv. Of course, everybody knows this series has its flaws. The pacing and stretched out episodes (which is better in DB Kai, I hear) can make you groan sometimes. DBZ is not known for his artistry and awesome animation either. It's a typical shonen series and not very deep. I have to give the series credit for some things. A. I haven't watched a single episode of it's predecessor, but it's easy to understand from the very beginning. B. The series actually has some character development (Vegeta) and C. It does have it's surprise moments. So sometimes, when in the mood, I have to watch some episodes again.
Durarara!! (TV) Good
Dusk maiden of Amnesia (TV) Decent Though set in an eerie supernatural atmosphere, this show is essentially a mix between a romance, a dark, dramatic past that has not been properly dealt with and comedy. While there is a big horror element to this show, you shouldn't expect too much from it. You'll be disappointed if you're looking for a second 'Another'. Characters: I liked the leads. Beautiful female lead Yuuko is playful and sexy but has no memories of her past and while Niiya does tend to be a bit thrown back by Yuuko's shameless nudity, he's no push over. What did irk me was that there we so few characters and their world very small - never do we explore the world outside the schoolgrounds. Niiya doesn't seem to be having any friends nor important family outside the club of four people. From the two important secondary characters, Kirie is the best written one, with some genuine development. While Momoe does show some emotional maturity later on, she is essentially played as a comedic device. Opinions differ in how effective the comedy is, but it didn't really work for me. It is also odd that they all had to have a romantic interest in Niiya, thus suggesting a harem element. I have to admit, they had valid reasons for liking him and it was sometimes convenient for the story, but for anime fans who've grown allergic to harem elements it can be a bit annoying. The last thing I have to comment on is the boob grabbing. It isn't a bad thing when done once or twice and the act of 'touching' had real meaning in this show, but if you really want to put in some sexiness in a series, be a bit more original. Stroking someone's neck, back or leg is also alluring. Story: I have never seen someone label this show as slowly paced, but I felt it was. I felt impatient waiting for the meat of the story; which was finding out the truth behind 'the shadow' Kirie noticed multiple times and why Yuuko lost her memories and exactly what those memories were. By the time they showed Yuuko's backstory though, I didn't feel as though there were many surprises, as if I already knew what happened to her. It was very emotional though. The romance part was really well done. The very end is a bit of a letdown - but I won't spoil you on that one. The music and art are very well done and set the mood. In summary, I enjoyed this show because of the well done romance and drama. I could see why people loved it to death (heh), but I was expecting more of the horror elements. The comedy Momoe provided didn't really click with me and I felt the world building to be too small. Also, some elements felt a bit cliched.
(The) Eccentric Family (TV) Good Excellent slice of life about a quirky family of tanukis. The comedy and drama are well done, not over the top.
Eden of the East (TV) Decent
Elfen Lied (TV) Decent This series mixes many different elements, but to impact the viewer it relies mostly on shock effects: blood, gore, drama and nudity and not on quality writing. I loved the opening theme to death, but the actual content didn't give me any fond lasting memories.
Emma: A Victorian Romance (TV) Good

From the New World (TV) Very good This show is set in the future, where human beings have acquired psychic powers. People now live in small towns and the world looks different - less advanced and with different life forms. We follow the story of Saki and her friends, who gradually find out what dangers, strict rules and moral ambiguities exist in their seemingly peaceful world. It's a fantastical, intelligent story and a generally well told one. This show is thought-provoking and certainly for the people who like to get philosophical. It brings a lot of important themes about humanity and society, great for discussion. The music and atmosphere are good. The pacing of this show could have been better at times, sometimes being too slow or too fast, skipping years. It also manifests in the viewer not really caring for certain events, because only afterwards is explained what importance someone or something had in relation to the protagonist(s). I heard some scenes have been redrawn for the release of the show, but that wasn't a real flaw to me. I would recommend this series to just about anyone and found it a rewarding experience. I assure you I'm not spoiling anything by saying this, but the final episodes are really well done.
Fruits Basket (TV 1/2001) Very good One of my first anime back when I actually learned what anime was (about 16 years old). Poor Tohru lost both her parents and doesn't want to trouble her family during the renovation of grandpa's house (IIRC), so she decides to live in a tent. She meets the Sohma family, where she's allowed to stay. However, the Sohma's have a lot of hidden drama and mystery... This anime is still dear to me. It has a mix of excellent drama, comedy and some mystery around the Sohma family. Unfortunately the romance part of Fruits Basket is not in the anime - it is implied as a maybe for the future, that's about it. The biggest problem of Fruits Basket is that it stopped, leaving a big part of the original manga story untold. I would still recommend it though, you shouldn't miss it!
Fruits Basket (TV 2/2019) Excellent
Fruits Basket 2nd Season (TV) Excellent rated episode 1
Full Moon o Sagashite (TV) Excellent Full Moon o Sagashite has a very bleak premise. A girl with throat cancer, with only one year left to live, still wants to make her dream to become a singer come true. While it has a lot of heartwrenching drama (especially in the second part of the series), it is also a very fun series, full of optimism and comedy. The series has an actual fitting ending. Some minor points are the character designs and the repetitive music.
Fullmetal Alchemist (TV) Very good
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (TV) Very good
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (TV) Decent
(The) Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie) Very good
Girls' Last Tour (TV) Excellent One of the best dystopian anime, with lovely main leads who know how to make good memories in any dire situation. Though the show consisted of many fun elements, you can't help but feel melancholy in this grey world. The only downside to this show, to me, is the cartoony appearance of Yuu (seriously those eyes). I also would've liked it if they'd animated the whole story (okay, they did make a nice ED song).
Golden Time (TV) Good An excellent series with plenty of comedy, drama and well written characters. I laughed out loud multiple times and loved how realistic the conversations and quarrels were at times. The characters are mature enough to actually talk to each other about their problems and sort things out instead of staying quiet, giving hints and go into miscommunication mode. Unfortunately somebody decided this series needed a supernatural element, which didn't mesh well. It also takes some time before the main relationship starts to feel real.
Grave of the Fireflies (movie) Very good
Gravitation (TV) Very good One of the very few boys' love anime that I think are truly good. Sure, the animation is... well... quite bad and I could never really get over Shuichi's hair color, but I liked the story, the music and the romance. I thought it was sincere. Some shonen ai anime for some reason have no real central plot, but focus on more couples and give each couple a few episodes to 'shine'. This one luckily doesn't.
Hanasaku Iroha - Blossoms for Tomorrow (TV) Good
Hinamatsuri (TV) Excellent
His and Her Circumstances (TV) Good The story of this anime is one of the best romcom animes can give. Two believable fun characters with their own troubles fall in love and make for one of the best anime couples ever. We get to see what happens to them áfter they kiss - seeing their relationship unfold and Miyazawa making new friends. I'm fond of the music too. The animation of the series is very weak - this is even an understatement. That would be tolerable, but unfortunately the series declines to crap in it's last episodes and then - just stops. Somebody do a remake!
Honey and Clover (TV) Good
Honey and Clover II (TV) Good
Howl's Moving Castle (movie) Very good
Humanity Has Declined (TV) Good It's unfortunate that the funniest episodes come first, but this thought provoking insane comedy - with strong melancholic undertones - is certainly worth watching.
Inari Kon Kon (TV) Good Solid romantic comedy. Though there's nothing groundbreaking going on in this title, it's very sweet and fun entertainment and the characters show more depth than you'd initially expect.
ItaKiss (TV) Good This show doesn't excel in avoiding cliches nor has it an inventive storyline - but it is consistent, has fun characters and goes beyond the 'will they get together or not', something you don't often see in romantic comedies.
K-ON! (TV) Not really good This show runs on cuteness, but doesn't deliver much on the girls developing their music skills. It takes them ages to actually accomplish anything and passes the time mostly with the girls sipping from a cup of tea. That would be fine, if their conversations and pastimes had some substance, comedy or anything else that would be interesting to it - but it was quite boring. If moe is enough reason for you to enjoy something, this series is for you. Otherwise, move on.

Koi Kaze (TV) Very good About the only series to seriously display an incest relationship. That isn't the only problem the two main characters face: there's also a huge age gap between the two, with the younger sister still being in high school.
Kokoro Connect (TV) Good
Kyousougiga (TV) Decent This series has a fairy tale feeling to it, with the lively music, characters and fantastic looking world. It really takes the time to show what the characters have been through in their past. I would've been able to enjoy this more, were it not for the hugely confusing episode 0. The feeling of confusion unfortunately lasted; it took the show a while to explain what exactly was going on. The climax also left something to wish for with the endless talking. However - I think this is a show that remains enjoyable after multiple viewings and set up an engaging tale about an extraordinary family.

Naruto (TV) Very good A lot has been said about Naruto, a popular, but - because of that - also popular to hate series. As one of my gateway anime, I found it hard to like at first. Why? Well, that's mostly because of the second episode, which is a bit pointless. The first episode is also quick with the drama, which didn't sink in (if that's the right way to describe it). After that, the story really picks up, with introducing the other important characters: Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi. Sasuke and Naruto don't get along very well, but do become friends - and one of the most famous rivals seen in anime. The first mission starts and is a masterpiece arc in itself. O boy, I cried so much and so often! So, nice drama, action and some comedy. After that, being a shounen series, it gets into some kind of tournament, introduces villains, and eventually the overall big plot becomes clear. The weakness of Naruto is mostly the fillers after ~ ep 136, but those are easy to skip. Naruto's strength is also in flashbacks, but they are used a bit too often. Some won't like Naruto's character either. There are some pacing problems, especially during one fight, where two characters stay in the same position for multiple episodes! Overall, I think the series gets too much hate. It's a fine shonen series.
Naruto Shippūden (TV) Decent I gave this sequel the same rating as the original show. There are some differences however. Some arcs are masterpieces: in story, animation, drama, the whole execution. Then there are fillers and arcs with serious pacing problems (too slow). These slow arcs are especially in the first part of Shippuuden, so patience is needed ;). Another weakness is that Naruto and Sakura seem too desperado in their search for Sasuke. I do look forward to seeing more, I haven't gotten tired of it after so many years.

Natsume Yūjin-Chō Roku (TV 6) Excellent
Natsume's Book of Friends (TV) Very good
Natsume's Book of Friends (TV 2) Excellent
Natsume's Book of Friends (TV 3) Masterpiece I rated this sequel higher because it tops the previous in terms of character development. You see Natsume is really starting to open up to his friends. There's more backstory and flashbacks too.
Natsume's Book of Friends (TV 4) Masterpiece
Nisekoi - False Love (TV) Not really good The main reason I continued watching is because the main lead guy is actually a decent nice character. The girls in this harem romcom all had big flaws. Chitoge is a very violent tsundere and only at the end softens up a tiny bit - a tough learner for sure. The other girls are either too cowardly, change themselves into a completely different personality to gain favor or are just there to fulfill their character roles. The amount of cliches and tasteless fanservice in this series is daunting. Shafts visual style is pleasing to the eye though.

Noragami Aragoto (TV) Masterpiece This is how you do a sequel. Two masterfully done story arcs (about Bishamon and Ebisu). It achieves character development for most characters. Yukine had his arc, but really shows here how much he's grown. He's become a dedicated shinki for Yato. Some things Yato struggled with have already been shown in the first season, but this one delves deeper into Yato's character and shows us what's behind his goofy exterior. It makes me love him even more. The music and animation are awesome.

Ping Pong (TV) Very good Sports show, quite deep and complex written characters. Enjoyed it, but the animation style wasn't my thing, it made it hard to watch for me. I'm sorry, needed to subtract some points because of it.
A Place Further Than the Universe (TV) Masterpiece Great blend of slice of life, awesome comedy, relatable characters and drama. Don't write this off because it's about four high schoolers going on a journey. They each have their reasons for going and become truly great friends in the process.

Rage of Bahamut: Genesis (TV) Excellent This show is just so much fun. A real surprise hit to me. Everything's fun: the colorful characters, animation, action, humor. This, plus all possible fantasy elements that were thrown in, make a bombastic Hollywoodlike experience. It's not really deep, but that isn't what this show is trying to achieve. It wants to make you have one hell of a good time. It succeeds.

Romeo × Juliet (TV) Good Very romantic, suspenseful anime with great, strong characters. Forget the original tale and take this one as it is. I mean, Juliet is way cooler here! Though everybody knows how it'll end (it ís Romeo and Juliet we're talking about ;) ) it was a nice road getting there and the end was beautifully handled. (I only wondered through the second half why the pegasus had no role in the story anymore, but that's a minor complaint.)
Rumbling Hearts (TV) Decent
Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal (OAV) Masterpiece Truly a masterpiece. Warning: do not watch it BEFORE you've seen Rurouni Kenshin, the series until at least episode 62. I once did and was wondering why everybody liked it so much, with the sudden drama, death and gore. Luckily I have an amnesia switch for things I don't like, so the OAV was erased from my memory and after watching Rurouni Kenshin I went to this masterpiece of an OAV. Awesome animation, excellent music, drama and romance.
Sakura Trick (TV) So-so It was refreshing to see anime characters that aren't too embarassed to do anything besides staring at each other. We got many kisses, that's for sure. The ending was done quite well too. But... if you want to make an anime romance / slice of life, the other parts have to be good too to make up for the lack of story. Humor: ineffective, I probably faintly smiled a few times, but that's it. Drama: also ineffective. They only briefly mentioned the problems Kotone and Shizuku faced during the beach episode, but they didn't get much time to shine. The final episode didn't do anything for them. Mitsuki not recognizing her feelings of love and being the third wheel have been done a zillion times, but at least those plotlines got some closure. Characters: Yuu progressed in the sense of being more forward about her feelings, but she had an increasingly annoying streak to her. Like in the final episode, where she didn't want to fetch a spoon herself. How is that cute? The big sister got some development at the very end, but before that she was an annoying cliche character, if you ask me. Yuri/shoujo romance: This is probably why I actually continued watching this, as a guilty pleasure. I guess you can't really call this yuri though, since it was pretty tame apart from some suggestive poses and french kissing. In the middle episode there were barely any truly romantic and physical scenes. Nothing else really entertained me, so I was really bored. The story about the school closing wasn't very effective either. It's meant to be a setup for melancholy feelings, I'm sure, but most of the characters don't graduate yet (and don't leave the school) and the only one we're supposed to really like is the school president. Why did they even put that in in the first place?? I hesitated whether to give this one a Decent or So-So. If you look at what the shoujo-ai/yuri genre has to offer, it is one of the better titles. If you don't take that thought into account though, it's not really that special. I do hope that there will be more titles like this that don't shy away from showing characters romantically interacting with each other instead of being too embarassed to do anything.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (TV) Excellent I believe this attempt to make a realistic disaster anime is a superb one. The characters feel like real people to me. The ending was a bit long winded. The drama was really well done.
Toradora! (TV) Excellent Toradora! was hilarious, romantic, sometimes sad, optimistic and had some complicated conflicts between characters.
A Town Where You Live (TV) Weak I've heard that the source material was better. The story wasn't very original, which isn't a big deal - but somehow the execution wasn't very good either. I didn't care about the characters very much and the story seemed rushed.

Wandering Son (TV) Good The first anime I've seen that tackles issues about gender identity in a serious way. The series has complex characters, nice animation and music. In the end it unfortunately sped up quite a bit. In the first episodes it was kind of hard to find out who's who.
WATAMOTE (TV) Very good In this dark comedy, we follow the harsh life of a nerdy high school girl who can't seem to fit in - she wonders constantly why she's not popular. She has serious issues regarding making social contact and she herself is her worst enemy. The show is painful to watch at times even when it's making jokes, especially if you have been in the same situations before. Tomoko's character is done really well; you're able to feel sympathy for her, even though her less sympathetic sides are glaringly obvious to the viewer. Tomoko tries to make progress, but only takes baby steps in the course of these 12 episodes and there are many dark moments and failures. So, even though the comedy is good and it's a realistic take on social anxiety, it's hard to watch this series as it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I wished she would've progressed more.

(The) Wind Rises (movie) Very good
Wolf Children (movie) Very good
Wolf Girl & Black Prince (TV) Good Two equally flawed people, liar Erika and sadistic Kyoya, who totally deserve each other. The show is set deeply in cliched territory and premise - but plays with these clichés as well. The show doesn't end with 'they will end up with each other', no: these flawed people have to actually learn how to make their relationship work. I like how both sides need to give and take (Erika loves clichés but Kyoya utterly hates them) and adjust their unrealistic views of a relationship.
(The) World Is Still Beautiful (TV) Decent This show starts of masterfully with a strong (singing) princess from a small, not that rich country setting foot in new land and showing everybody just how awesome a woman she is. Her fateful meeting with the king of the other country sets up an interesting relationship between two people with a different age, personality and background. Only... the show isn't so good with secondary characters. Cliche after cliche walks in to make me moan and not care about what happens to them. The 'Tender Rain' song is overused. I even didn't think the relationship between the main duo was done that well. Still, Nike (the princess) remains awesome.
Yona of the Dawn (TV) Very good Going from 'Ah, this might be pretty interesting' to 'GIVE ME MOAR', this show grew on me episode by episode. Yona starts as a damsel in distress, but soon gets a fiery strong character and builds up her pretty boy harem ;) to fight for what she believes in. After each addition of important characters, the show gets better (especially with the green-haired dragon). The Suu-won arc was a bit low and less good. This desperately needs second season.
Yuri!!! on Ice (TV) Very good

Will not finish Rating Comment
Age 12 (TV)
Akame ga KILL! (TV)
Amagi Brilliant Park (TV)
Baccano! (TV) Very good
Boys Over Flowers (TV) Decent
Classroom of the Elite (TV) Not really good
Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - The Animation (TV)
Dance with Devils (TV) Decent After about 5 à 6 episodes, I still couldn't figure out if the musical songs were meant as a serious thing in this show, but I found this mystery about a girl forcibly put into a weird position with the school's evil (?) and suspicious harem boys quite entertaining at first. The girl had some wit and balls (actually calling the police when things get suspicious) and the musical numbers were (unintentionally?) hilarious. After that charm wore off, I slowly got bored with this series. However, I won't regret what I watched.
Deadman Wonderland (TV) So-so I remember the first episodes being quite good, despite the gore. The plot got more ridiculous as the show went on.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (TV)
Denpa teki na Kanojo (OAV) This was just not for me.
Dimension W (TV)
DRAMAtical Murder (TV) Weak I don't know what it was trying to do, but it didn't really entertain me with its confusing plot and bishounen with weird outfits.
ERASED (TV)
Flowers of Evil (TV) So-so If there's something I REALLY dislike about most bad romantic comedies - it's that their humor is based on embarassing situations. I usually cringe when I watch these movies. Now, Flowers of Evil is certainly NO romcom, but its main character sure knows how to do embarassing things and make embarassing decisions... I couldn't bear to watch this anymore. It's a slow series (the animation didn't bother me at all really), but the atmosphere, characters and storyline didn't lure me in either. Sorry.
Flying Witch (TV)
Fractale (TV) Weak The first episode could have been drawn and directed by Miyazaki himself. Unfortunately, the creator did not have a real plan with its plot and so the show tried to be something else each episode.
(The) Future Diary (TV) Decent Started out hugely entertaining, but unfortunately Yukki kept being a horrible character and the plot got worse too. There wasn't anybody to root for.
Gamers! (TV)
Gangsta. (TV) Decent Had major potential. It had built three complex and sympathetic characters with difficult pasts that were believable. It went wrong somewhere with the limited budget and the focus that shifted mostly to the gang leaders and some bigger picture conflicts I really didn't care about (I think nobody did). All that while the show was looking worse and worse in animation and the execution snowdived into sad territory. Pity, because I really liked Alex, Nico and Worrick.
Ghost Hunt (TV)
Gintama (TV) Very good Fun series, watched about 100 episodes. I'm not really the type for episodic shows though. The humor didn't always click with me, I liked the series best when it was serious with a comedic touch... which wasn't really what it tried to accomplish most of the time . So, it just wasn't truly for me.
Glass Mask (TV 2/2005) Very good No subtitles in the later episodes - yes , no fansubs but for me no other legal way to watch it either - so I'm not able to finish it. Pity, since I liked it.
GLASSLIP (TV) Weak
Gosick (TV) Got bored. I don't think it's really the show's fault though.
Gurren Lagann (TV) Decent
Haibane Renmei (TV) It pains me to say that I never got through the first episodes, despite trying multiple times. It didn't catch my attention.
(The) Heroic Legend of Arslan (TV) Decent
(The) irregular at magic high school (TV)
Joker Game (TV)
Junjō Romantica (TV) Weak
K-ON!! (TV 2) Not really good
Kamisama Kiss 2 (TV)
Katanagatari (TV)
Kill la Kill (TV) Weak
Kodocha (TV) Good Wow, our main heroine sure is... hyperactive. I did watch about 30 episodes and you'll be surprised about the emotional depth this series has, it's not afraid to talk about serious topics while still being essentially a childrens' show. I kind of lost interest during filler episodes and wasn't really interested anymore, but I can still say I enjoyed a good part of what I watched.
KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! (TV)
Kurenai (TV) Decent
(The) Legend of the Galactic Heroes (OAV) Excellent
Level E (TV) Decent The first three episodes I saw some of the most hilarious moments existent in anime. Too bad it didn't continue that path - it experienced with other storylines and characters. Pity.
Living for the Day After Tomorrow (TV)
Magical Circle Guru-Guru (TV 2)
MAOYU (TV) So-so
Maria the Virgin Witch (TV)
Monster (TV) Very good
My Love Story!! (TV) I really wanted to like this show. I am basically the target audience. Only... the main couple, Yamato and Takeo. They are so simple and sugary sweet to each other, it's tiring. They make a big thing out of EVERY small thing. There isn't much more to Takeo than his almost 100% good nature and his gruff exterior, he's not really complex (nor very intelligent, or at least it seems that way). Loved Sunakawa, but while he's an important character, I couldn't bare to watch this show anymore because of the main relationship. Sorry.
Mysterious Girlfriend X (TV) This was certainly unique in premise and ideas... though hard for some people to see (all the saliva...). But the characters weren't fun enough for me to watch.
Natsuyuki Rendezvous (TV) Weak Started out as a promising jousei, but went downhill soon. Bland and boring main guy, annoying dead guy and it all got so sloowwwww and ridiculous.
No Game, No Life (TV) It's not my thing. Sorry.
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal (ONA 2014) So-so
Princess Tutu (TV)
Psycho-Pass 2 (TV) I am not easily discouraged, but this show had such bad ratings, I don't even dare to watch it anymore.
Rainbow - Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin (TV) Good Sorry, it was just so... cheesy. I liked the plot and I like me some gore, but this execution wasn't for me.
Riddle Story of Devil (TV) Weak
Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers (TV)
Rurouni Kenshin (TV 1996) Very good Awesome show. After the Kyoto arc, the manga coverage is mostly over and I stopped watching.
School Days (TV) Awful
Silver Spoon (TV)
Squid Girl Season 2 (TV) Decent The first season was awesome on the first watch. After watching a couple of episodes of this second season, while there were good moments, this show wasn't really inventive or funny anymore.
Sunday Without God (TV) So-so Not my thing.
Sweetness & Lightning (TV)
Sword Art Online (TV) So-so Showed some early signs of failure in the making, with every girl crushing on the main character. However, everything went downhill when poor Asuna became caged and main guy seemed to have a sister admirer. And to top it off, the main villain in the second half was so atrocious that I couldn't bear to watch it anymore.
Tokyo Ghoul (TV) Good
Touch (TV)
(The) Troubled Life of Miss Kotoura (TV) Not really good
(The) Twelve Kingdoms (TV) I just couldn't get into this series.
You and Me. (TV)
Your Lie in April (TV) Decent I liked the premise and I believe some things were done very well. The main guy's negative experiences and fear of playing piano and his mother, for example. However, I couldn't bear to watch the women 'playfully' abuse the males here for comic relief (almost all the humor in this show was bad), especially as the show was about a main character who'd experienced abuse. This show trampled on my moral compass on multiple ways. I didn't like many of the female characters either.
Yurikuma Arashi (TV) Decent This wasn't for me. I loved how the episode review writer explained all the motives and symbolism in this show, but the characters and how the show's thoughts/plot were presented to me - I couldn't bring myself to like it.
