This is crazy! how the hell does a powergrid the size of several states just turn off. Anybody up there near newyork effected by this?

it's happened before.. it'll happen again. i live around 4 hours from NYC, and about 3 from Erie, and all that happened to me is a 5-10 second flickering tv. i didn't even know about it until i went online an hour later. However, we have precident of not discussing "news" when it doesn't really concern or affect ANN (we didn't discuss 9/11, for example). Please look elsewhere (news.google.com, CNN, ABC, CBS...) for news about this incident. As such I'm locking the thread (ah, isn't it great? Should we make "Locked by Cookie" t-shirts?) |
