Please, if any 1 knows where to get dvds and mangas for practically nothing, let me know. I'm always shopping online and it seems that the prices are really low, but there are hidden charges that make it more expensive than just going to the local video store and buying your stuff from them. I dont have a credit card so that eliminates alot of option there, so please let me know if yall know where i can go. thanks in advance. (by the way dont let my pic fool u, im a guy, and straight, but the pic is just too cute too ignore.)

Too get cheap anime and manga you without the use of a credit card your best bet is ebay. But be warn about 90% of the stuff on there is bootlegged so you need to know what you are looking for so your not tricked into buy anything that isn't legit.

Go to "animecastle.com" they have cheeper stuff there. I shop there too.

Yes, that's because they also sell bootlegs. But no worries, some people would just rather save money  , ne?
To get legit quality merchandise at low prices I would recommend eBay, but the problem with them is that it takes too long sometimes. There are lots of sites online that have pretty good prices for Region 1 anime DVDs, but you'd need at least a credit card for a majority of those purchases. For most intents and purposes, I'd suggest Deep Discount DVD for your anime. |

Best part is that they offer free shipping so WYSIWYG when it comes to the prices, unless you chose something other than their standard shipping unless you're paying sales tax. Emerje |

Now a days, you can pay with money order. And if you still need to purchase online, open up a Washington Mutual Checking account and you'll recieve a Visa Check card. It's free and you're basically using your debit card to pay for everything.
Ebay's the last place you want to shop for cheap anime. You're basically going into a bootleg community.
It's not supring every now and then someone comes in here thinking they got some anime for really cheap when in fact they're bootlegs. I'm sure there are thousand of people still being fool by bootlegs. Oh yeah the picture is not cute if you're into little girls. |

Also, try your local Gamestop once a week. The one I go to (other than their slowly dwindling 50% Anime selection) has someone dumping Anime DVD's (Guess for Credit towards games). Managed to pick up a complete Neon Genesis Evangelion DVD Set for $75 after discount. Plus, find out if there is any Used CD shops or Video Stores that buy Used DVDs and the like. One of the local Used CD shops that I frequent has gotten interesting selections. I've bought from them SMAP!, Tenchi Muyo Soundtracks, Japan for Sale, and a Initial D Boxset (The Tokyopop release, not Bootleg)from them. I'm also gonna check out a Video Store and see what they have. |

(By the way i was just kidding.) Thanks to all who posted a reply, and i found a great site, justmanga.com. I found dvds that were up to twelve bucks less than what they sell at any video store, as well as new relases of many great mangas. I reccomend it.

Hmm... usually this forum will censor websites that sell bootlegged stuff? But since it also sells legit stuff, maybe not.
