He is not in the credits for Pani Poni Dash and likely is not working on Keroro Gunso as it appears Joey Goubeaud has taken over his role as second producer. |

I really think (this is just my own opinion) the trend of adding Executive Producer and Producer to a title just because a certain company has licensed a title should stop - it inflates the Encyclopedia with information that could possibly be inaccurate. The credits of the release should be known before they are entered.

I'd agree with this. I see them being added all the time right after any certain anime is announced licensed. Then situations like this come up... I've even seen some people add roles for sequel anime before they are even announced. They shouldn't be just assumed. |

Actually, we have a strict "no assumptions" rule. If you see someone doing this, mark the information false and tell them not to do it again. Some staff members used to do this, however I assume they've stopped. It should also be noted that corporate titles, ie: "president," "CEO," etc... should never be added, if you see these, mark them false. Publisher and Executive Producer are however okay, provided they are based on the credits, not an assumption. -t |

Ah, understood. Was not sure if there was a specific rule on this, since I had seen it done a lot with some company staff. |

Em, so should them be marked as false or not? Right after ADV announced their new acquisitions, an user immediately added John Ledford as executive producer to those titles based not on credits but "recurring staff", and he (assuming) does this quite often. |
