LOL that is funny.
Course for the most part most anime names can also be regular Japanese names. |

Or if you have a name like Edward something something something...I can never rember the rest of her name. Anyways the point is that except for a few oddball cases, most of the names used by characters in anime can be a real name without most people knowing. I would like to meet a girl named 'Belldandy' though

I read about it yesterday. Sure changing your name to Prime is sad, but it's sadder when you get this in the mail, "I got a letter from a general at the Pentagon when the name change went through and he says it was great to have the employ of the commander of the Autobots in the National Guard." And I use to work for these people.

So you mean there can be a kid out there called Inu Yasha!? Can you imagine? If that were true he must get a lot of "SIT BOY" statements flying his way. No, seroiusly though I've heard of this befor. Mainly people changing their names to some Harry Potter character, though. In any situation I think that if you change your full name to match that of anime character, it's a little sad. First names O.K., but first and last. That's a little weird. Although that guys story was kind of sweet. |

Heh heh. Optimus Prime is a loser. But hey, que sera sera. I'll eventually change my name, not to some anime name, but it would be cool!
And Ed's full name is Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky the fourth. |

Actually, Alucard isn't exactly an anime name, so it's quite possible a non-anime fan would use it. I did consider changing my name to Pan at one point but I moved on, so thankfully I was stilll under 18 at the time and I didn't do it. ![]() |

I once talked to a guy that changed his name to Obi-Wan Kenobi for a local radio contest. He always had trouble ordering pizza.

I heard about this and started cracking up. Old school transformers were the shiznit, you know when I was 7 or 8.
I always liked the Optimus Prime name but changing your name to it is rather strange and however said someone in Iraq changed their name to Megatron... that made me smile ![]() |
