Afro Samurai (TV) |

Ah! My Goddess (TV) |
Good |
This really is the happy-go-lucky, nothing-can-go-wrong show. Every encounter Ah! My Goddess presents is whimsical and almost suggesting that you should be nothing but relaxed watching this anime. |
Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy (TV) |
Good |
Continuing on the first season, Flights of Fancy allows the Keiichi and Belldandy to enjoy a seemingly normal lifestyle with the addition of a few new bright faces. By the end you might be as sick as I was of hearing Keiichi spurt out, "Belldandy!" |
Air (TV) |
Very good |
Of Key's productions, this is the saddest; which is an accomplishment if you have seen the other series. Other things that come to mind include: confusing, two plots, why a raven, and beat 'em when they're down. |

Beast Wars: Transformers (U.S. TV) |
Good |
Home of the most annoying catch phrases, including: "Eee-yesssss", "For the Royalty!", and pretty much anything Inferno says. |
BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad (TV) |
Excellent |
Some people wonder may look at the cover of a CD album and wonder, how did this band get to where they are now? Well, BECK answers this with a slice of Japanese life and an interesting twist of English speaking characters. The road to making it big within underground rock isn't easy, provides much amusement, and gives us an exclusive listen to some catchy tunes. |
Birdy the Mighty: Decode (TV) |
Good |
|
Black Lagoon (TV) |
Excellent |
A top-notch action show with enough piracy and explosions to keep you watching. Melding into the mindset of the crew of Black Lagoon is uncomfortably easy and invigorating, allowing us to be recruited along with Rock almost immediately after the torpedo-to-helicopter scenario. |
Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (TV) |
Excellent |
|
Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan (TV) |
Weak |
Beating a kid to death with a hauntingly, violent club is a gimmick that gets old qquuiicckk! A line where violence and fan service is definitely crossed in this show, amusing only a strange few. |
Blue Gender (TV) |

Clannad (TV) |
Excellent |
An anime that knows just how to hook you in, Clannad first catches you buy throwing in a plethora of comedic devices, shakes you up by introducing a lovable cast, then spreads you across the mattress, ready to do with you as it pleases with it's onslaught of tear-jerking drama sequences. |

Cowboy Bebop (TV) |
Very good |
Every cowboy has his day, and this is no different. Cowboy Bebop explodes with cool, rhythm, and the easiest anime to bridge the gap between those of us who speculate or hate anime, and those of us who remember this show as ecstacy. |

Genshiken 2 (TV) |
Excellent |
For those of us who have dabbled into the life of an otaku or have even tried expanding that into a future career, Genshiken seems to hit home almost too accurately, allowing us to laugh, cry, and become frustrated right alongside the members of Genshiken as most of the cast enters the working world and the hardships that lie within. |

If the back-and-forth-calling-each-other's-name gag doesn't bother you, then enjoy the life of a human who has to attend a school filled with monsters and keep his secret that he is a human. Awkward, but definitely funny. Rosario + Vampire could have used more of a macho guy who fights too much as a sidekick, that would have been entertaining. |

Starting off strongly, you'd think Tenjho Tenge would be a sure fire way to beat boredom, but the show finds a strange way to drag itself out. Literally the show can be segmented into 1/8 main story, then 3/4 flashback, and finally another 1/8 continuation, in this exact order. Enjoy the first 1/8, then break out the crunchy snacks as you follow one of the longest flashback sequences you might ever experience. |

Welcome to the NHK (TV) |
Very good |
Can Sato possibly make every wrong decision possible? Yes, apparently he can. From addictions to pornography, online gaming, and galgae, to escaping the life of a hikkikomori, many events will enter through his front door and most likely allow you to see the same sad deprivity that we all have once felt in some of these situations. Warning: when ANN categorized this as a dark comedy, they meant it; so prepare yourself for the desperation that only some of us have felt. |
When They Cry - Higurashi (TV) |
Excellent |
Don't pay too much attention to the opening scene, just remember the shock and intensity that follows you as you watch it. This is the same bundle of feelings you will feel over and over again as the town of Higurashi continues through the day. Paranoia and and comedy are just a few things that will appear in the crazed murder mysteries of this town. |
