I like how they are releasing Strawberry 100% after I"s is finished. Makes sense too since Strawberry 100% and I's are kind of the same.

Yay, Houshin Engi in June! This was one of my favorite shonen series that I read through scanlation. I'll be interested to see how Viz adapts it in English, since if I recall the scanlations were way too literal for my tastes.

I wish Viz would license Toe Shoes, it would fit in nicely with their Shoujo Beat line. I was reading online but the group scanlating it disbanded and I really want to read the rest

Interesting about Houshin Engi, it won't be released under the Jump label. Wonder why? Maybe the first few volumes wouldn't go over that well with the Jump crowd since the art looks a little outdated for the first few volumes. Hopefully they'll release them in the special editions with the fancy cover art and more chapters per book (*crosses fingers*)

According to this, it seems like it will be under the Shonen Jump line. At least Viz is putting something for the SIgnature line, even though they're reprints. & at least they're making some sort of attempt to put out some of the more "unheard of" titles. I've never heard of Togari & Portus before, but they sound interesting, so I'll probably check them out upon release. |
