Yes, yes he does. Today he's sporting a lovely grey Armani from the closet of Lord Talbot of Glasgow, along with wonderful burgundy trousers from Le Posteus Derangeree. In restraint from asking you how old you are, I'd like to phrase my question in a polite, user friendly format so that we can communicate better.
ASL?

Some Samurai show? The name of the show is Rurouni Kenshin and Kenshin is not a Samurai(despite the subtitle).

I haven't seen much of Kenshin, so I can't really be classified as a fangirl or whatever. But it's pretty good. The episodes I saw had some swordfighting in it but there was also some comedy. Hmm...not really a good description though. The swordfighting stuff was serious, so it wasn't like "Ha ha! Boys playing with toy swords" or anything. It was more like "I will kill you *glare*"....swordfight....Kenshin wins....goes to dinner....gets hit in the head with a plate thrown from another table. (The table was fighting and threw a plate across the room....hit Kenshin by accident.....or something like that. It's been awhile since I watched it.)
Good mix of action, comedy and a little romance (from what I saw...the romance may become more of an issue later on).

we were never fans of "chop 'em up" swordplay animes. Me and my friends always considered Kenshin a pussy.
But what I don't understand is "How is Cartoon Network going to air Kenshin with chopping it up and killing the story?"

because they've managed to do it before (outlaw star) with only minor complaints (tenchi muyo). just because there's some objectionable content (gundam wing) doesn't mean that it's all gonna have to go away (dragon ball z)... or that it will ruin the storyline to people who don't know better.
of course we have a bias towards uncut anime on tv -- we know when they edit a scene. most viewers either are unaware or simply don't care that what's on TV is edited.
those people who don't know won't notice that it's edited, merely a little discontinuous at times.

As someone that gets introduced to alot of shows based on what Toonami airs and there for in the "unaware of editing" group", I'm cool with the edited versions. They generally give me the story with all the main points. If I like the show enough I go by the DVD, which has those little details that make the show more interesting and more mature then they can show on American television. Makes it worth the money for the DVD.

Rurouni Kenshin is about a legandary swordsman, not a samurai, i've seen the first 4 episodes(subtitled) and it isn't that bad.

well in japan you're either a samurai or a ninja if you are a swordsman and i would just stick to the fact that kenshin is a SAMURAI

Well... all sarcasm aside...
Kenshin is masterless, so one might be able to call him ronin..
He can also be be kenshi ("sword-soldier") or kenkaku (swordsman) ... or maybe gunshi ("war-samurai").
You could be kenshi without being samurai.. as one is a degree of skill with a sword and one is a social status.
In fact, from the first RRK OVAs we know Kenshin's early history, and know for a fact that he did not grow up with a Samurai lineage. Ergo, Kenshin could not have been a samurai prior to the war. If he fought for the Tokugawa (and if the Tokugawa won) then he might've been awarded a parcel of land for his efforts.. and THEN been able to call himself samurai. Of course, as we can plainly see, the Tokugawa didn't win the war. :)

you're very closed minded... the whole series takes place it seems like in the 1700's, the time when there weren't guns for warfare, only swords and such. Kenshin is a master swordsman, an ex-soldier of an army.

Actually, it happens during/after the Meiji restoration which happens in the late 1800s? (Cookie, help me out here). Also, there ARE guns and cannons and explosives and such. A gattling gun is an integral part of the Aoshi stoary arc. Have you seen the series?
