Any Canadians here? I usually buy my anime from rightstuf, roberts anime corner store or ebay, and a LOT of times I have to pay taxes/duty when it comes across the border. Any Canadian anime sites with good prices out there?

Check out the "International Retailers" sticky thread for some good sites. Personally I've used FutureShop, Amazon and DVD BoxOffice with excellent results.

Not an online store, but have you checked out London Drugs? They have pretty much the biggest selection out of any chain in Canada.

DeepDiscountDVD.com may be of interest to you, although they are based out of the US. Just about everyone I know who imports R1 DVDs to whatever country they live in(Europe, Canada, etc) uses DDD.

DDD has some nice prices, but buying from a US site I get taxed across the border >.< after tax and handling fee it's not cheap to buy from US anymore Razz

I think there's store in the Still Creek Area in Burnaby that has pretty good deals, a large selection and an online store. My sister shops there so I can get the name off of her.

Others: HMV, A&B(? haven't checked in years), Sakura Media, Golden Age Collectibles, Charlie's Place (small selection of used & new), MAL and some shop in East Van I've never tracked down... Used region 2 DVDs at Book-Off downtown (mostly Japanese only)...

Okay...so I was quite a ways off the mark: C&L was that store in Burnaby but its south of Marine Way I think.

Chapters-indigo carries them as well both online and a small selection in the indigo stores.

I tend to buy from the cd stores. Places like wal-mart and toys r us are starting to carry some though toys tends to carry the younger audience stuff.

Video rental joints like blockbuster and rogers video can usually special order stuff but if you are looking for a deal stay away from them.
