Fans pick dera_fury's 2014 Snow Miku design with nekosumi's snow bunny pet
Good Smile Company announced the winners of its 2014 Snow Miku costume design contest on Friday. After 2013's "Hokkaido Sweets" theme, 2014's Hokkaido winter theme for Hatsune Miku is "Magical Girl." Out of nine finalists, dera_fury created the winning design:
Fans also voted for Snow Miku's pet during a Niconico live broadcast on Friday. The winning "Ezo Yuki Usagi" (Ainu Snow Rabbit) pet design came from nekosumi:
2014 will be the fifth anniversary of Snow Miku. To mark the occasion, Good Smile Company will take these winning designs and turn them into next year's Snow Miku Nendoroid figure set.
