Snow Hatsune Miku's Magical Girl Costume Contest Finalists Revealed

Good Smile Company revealed on Friday the entries of the nine finalists for the design contest of next year's Snow Miku that the company hosted with the user-generated content site Piapro. Fans will vote for the winning design during a Niconico live broadcast on Friday, May 17 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Japan (6:00-8:00 a.m. EDT). Following 2013's "Hokkaido Sweets" theme, 2014's Hokkaido winter theme for Hatsune Miku is "Magical Girl." Each costume design submitted had to include a magical staff. The submissions were due on May 13.

2014 will be the fifth anniversary of Snow Miku.
