posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The July issue of Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age magazine is revealing on Friday that Yuna Kagesaki's AiON manga will end in the next issue. Kagesaki launched the series in the magazine's August 2008 issue.
The fantasy story centers on a high school boy named Tatsuya Tsugawa, whose parents died in an accident. Tatsuya tries to fulfill his father's last wish for him to become a man of good character and helps a bullied girl named Seine Miyazaki. The boy's kind intentions open his eyes to a strange world where Seine fights parasitic bugs that can control humans minds.
The manga distributor Tokyopop licensed and released the series' first three compiled volumes before shutting down its North American manga publishing division in May 2011.
Kagesaki's other manga include Chibi Vampire, HA·I·KA·RA, and Onii-chan Control.
The August issue of Monthly Dragon Age will go on sale in Japan on July 9.
