Inazuma Eleven Go Soccer RPG Film to Open in December
posted on by Egan Loo
The official website for the Inazuma Eleven anime films announced on Wednesday that the second film in the soccer role-playing game franchise, Inazuma Eleven GO: Kyūkyoku no Kizuna Griffon (Ultimate Bond Griffon), will open in Japan on December 23. The film will play in stereoscopic 3D and traditional 2D. Advance sales of tickets will begin on July 15, and people who buy the early tickets at the theaters will receive two super premium trading cards. More details will be announced on July 15.
Like the ongoing television anime series and the previous Inazuma Eleven: Saikyō Gundan Ogre Shūrai film, the new film adapts the Inazuma Eleven soccer role-playing game franchise from Level 5 (Gundam AGE, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, Rogue Galaxy, Professor Layton and the Curious Village). The Inazuma Eleven GO storyline is set one decade after the first Inazuma Eleven storyline; the television anime premiered last month, and the Nintendo 3DS game will ship this winter.
