Metal Gear Solid Designer Kojima to Lecture at USC in L.A.

Shinji Hirano, president of the videogame developer Konami Digital Entertainment, confirmed at the company's Pre-E3 Show 2011 on Thursday that Metal Gear Solid game designer Hideo Kojima will be holding lectures at the University of Southern California this fall. The lectures will be aimed at students taking videogame design classes at the university in Los Angeles. In addition to Metal Gear Solid, Kojima also helmed other franchises such as Zone of the Enders and Boktai.

Hirano also confirmed that Konami will reissue games in the Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders franchises in HD Collections for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Metal Gear Solid collection will ship with Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, and Peace Walker in November, while the Zone of the Enders collection will ship with the first game and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner next year. E3 will run from June 7 to June 9 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
