Hmm, hopefully this gets licensed. We don’t see too many Godzilla manga that aren’t adapting a movie.

Question is which US company will pick up the US license for it? I know IDW Publishing is the current licensors/publishers for Godzilla comics in the US. But that doesn't rule out that they can license this Godzilla manga for the US market given that they had licensed and published a manga in the US before (back in 2007, and that's it!!! They never touched manga again), and given that US comic book publishers are looking into the manga licensing/publishing game that I have mentioned in the past. It does make me wonder if IDW could jumped into the manga publishing game again some 18 years later after they published Reptilia in the US. |
