Wow, this series sounds like a lot of fun! It is always hard to find good fantasy anime, but this could fit the bill. Mix in the historical fiction and you've got a winner with me.
Saiunkoku was the last thing that felt like this for me. Although it's complete fiction, it almost seemed historical. Boo it has little hoping of being finished in the U.S. But we did a big article about it anyway. You know it was really the best shojo series in years. I hope Hakushaku can match my enthusiasm! |
