Never played any of the Atelier games so maybe I'll make this my first one since I'm liking the cozy vibe.

Could the previewer provide if they played the Switch, PS4, PS5, and/or PC version for this?

Maybe it's hard to tell from the preview, but any need to have played the first before this one?

Hello! Our review code was for the PC version.

Not really! The game does a good job of giving you the info you need to know as not to be lost when old characters are introduced or old incidents are spoken of.

There's a tons of atelier game and they're extremely conservative, with very little changing from one to another. I'd grab an older one for cheap and try it before grabbing the latest one at full price.
