They're starting to advertise it, but what is it? It's coming to Toonami this fall (September) but it seems to come in right under everyone's raidar. Everyone seems to be at a lost for what it is. Rather than being a new series I think it's probably an older series that was renamed. You can catch the promo over at www.adultswimunleashed.com . Does anyone recognize it?

I cant make head or tail of it either. The mecha design looks almost like Full Metal Panic's, but that's not a series they'd mess with since it's pretty much cool for broadcast as is.
I don't know, maybe someone with some back issues of Newtype (I'd guess 96-98 vintage) could fill us in. |

This is a new series they put together with Production IG and a few other folks.
At least, I think so. I know they're making their own mecha show with IG and that it's supposed to be around this fall. This is probably it, but I could be wrong. -Z |

Well now, that is interesting. You have to give CN props for being able to have total control over one of their titles. We usualy hear about stuff coming to cartoon months in advanced through "sources", but CN was actually able to keep everything under wraps until they were ready to let it out. CN has been getting good at keeping secrets lately.

I had to search to fing this thread...
it was said at the I.G panal at Otakon that it will be a bunch of shorts. i don't remember how long or how many though. |
