I'm going to take a complete guess here, because it sounds like something that would happen in this (dreadful) anime.
spoiler[Chi is character A, Hideki is character B, both from Chobits. I don't know context for sure, obviously, but if I'm right I assume it's from early in the series, when Hideki is trying to teach Chi how to get through everyday life.] |

Right on! I actually wanted to use a line from the earlier scene where Fuko's comment about Nagisa devolves into a strange and hilarious exchange about whether Fuko is an alien or Earthling (all while Fuko wears a stuffed dango toy, which covers her entire head). But, it was way too long to properly quote. Fuko always makes me laugh. She brings a bit of crazed joy with her wherever she goes.
