I was afraid he had retired, since he hadn't announced a new project since Inu-Oh, after 11 very prolific years at Science SARU. Very glad to see that one of my favorite directors is still active.

Weird, I thought Science Saru was Yuasa's studio. I wonder if there is any difference between the founding of this new studio and Science Saru.
Edit: regardless, I am very glad Yuasa is making more anime, he is probably my favorite anime director at this point.

He problably didn't like that Toho bought it and pushed them into making more mainstream anime like Dandadan.

Is Yuasa the new Maruyama? He funds new studios, they become famous, he doesn't like where the studio is going, goes out and funds a new one, rinse and repeat?
(I'm jesting, but weird anyway)

This is exactly what people are thinking. We got Pluto from Maruyama's new studio. Wonder what we can get from this studio.
