Those of you who are Gantz fans will know that apartment bears a strong resemblance to a famous building in the Ebisu area of Shibuya.
However that is the most information i can find. I have a few days in Tokyo coming up and i wanted to visit this building.
Does anybody know anything more?

Hm... I don't know about the Gantz apartment being a famous building, but I do believe they can see a famous landmark from the apartment. It's been so long since I've read the beginning of the series when they talk about that, that I can't remember for sure. Sorry for the lack of real help...

In Gantz you can see the Tokyo tower from the apartment. I will be visiting that as well.

There are numerous buildings you can see Tokyo tower from, so good luck finding it. Hint for tourists: Tokyo Tower isn't really worth the 800 yen for a lift ticket. You can get a much better view for free if you visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Govt. Building in Shinjuku. There's a high-speed lift that goes straight to the observation deck and is open until about ten at night.

Agreed, even worse though are those rip-off telescopes in Tokyo Tower that charge you 200 yen just to take a look. Not only do you not get that much better of a view as opposed to looking out the window, there were times it just ate my money without letting me see anything.
Tokyo Tower is nice for climbing those long flights of red stairs all the way down though (they go around the outside, so you can see the view and everything). Interesting experience.

The tower itself is a pretty nice place to check out at least once. I've been to the first level of the observation deck and that was pretty cool.
As for building you're looking for, do you remember any other locations nearby? For instance, there's a cemetery nearby that according to urban rumor is the place where all the people who have jumped the tower are buried. I never read Gantz, but I do know there are "undead" elements in the story. =)

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring the show with me and right now i am in bangkok so i cant re-watch it. But if i remember correctly they never show anything near the apartment other than the view from it.
This is probably one of the most retarded ideas i have had in a while, but oh well.

It's no worse than me visiting all the major locations in Tokyo that were featured in Digimon Adventure!

The alien thing is easy, not looking stupid in the bodysuit in front of the ladies, that's the challenge. Specially since they aren't wearing underwear (cool except for granny) and neither are you (embarrasing enough to make you want to find that train again).
