I am getting in to these new series and want to know more information about anyone of these and if they are good or not. I read some information on ANN about Divergence Eve, and heard its licenced under ADVfilms and the second season is not. The other two I read in one of my anime magazines, Rizelmine seems like FLCL I dont know if its true or not. Komugi I dont know about. Anyone watched these or know of them?

I've only seen the first episode myself, but I've only heard bad, bad, bad things about Rizelmine, like it's what the Ataru-Lum relationship would be like in Urusei Yatsura, if, instead of just chasing other women and not giving Lum the attention she deserves, as happens in most episodes of Urusei Yatsura, Ataru decided to beat Lum up badly several times every episode (with Lum still craving his affection).

Dunno where you're getting that idea, lol, I haven't seen Rizlmine, but its about a boy engaged to a young girl or something like that. Looked like a general shounen love comedy/harem anime far as I could tell. As far as Komugi goes, in my opinion its one of the best anime comedy anime to come out in a looong time. Momoi Haruko is the voice of Komugi, so of course you get a lot her own brand of cuteness! (http://www.momoi.com/) But besides that, its a parody of mahou shoujo anime, and just anime in general, with a lot of "in-jokes" for anime fans (many of which won't be understood by the average American fan though). But its extremely cute, and has some really funny and over the edge humor. Unfortunately, the 5th ep coming out next will be the last one... ![]() Also Komugi is based off the anime Soul Taker, taking its once serious story and replacing it with a goofy one. But it doesn't matter if you've seen Soul Taker or not, I haven't ![]() |

Yeah... ![]() Soul Taker was a really artistic/adventure/kinda scary series with monsters, mutants, and other disturbing things. And then, there was ultra-cute Komugi-chan. *slaps forehead*. I can't say that I was really surprised when they 'gave' her her own show, but I did laugh. She made the Soul Taker series a lot better. |

I have seen a few episodes of Rizelmine and it is a funny and enjoyable anime. It is true she gets thrown around aerodynamically but it doesn't mean she's the victim. (she has tears that explode)
All in all Rizelmine is a romantic comedy worth checking out. |

I've seen 18 episodes and found Rizelmine to be too repetative. In the end it's always Rizel crying and blowing something up.
