Didn't the first volume just come out in NA? Talk about timing.

I'm glad to see more and more Yuri getting an animation, i remember enjoying the first few chapters 5 or so years ago and didn't have much hope for an adaptation at the time like multiple others that got announced over the last 2 years.

So given it's specified as a "pilot film" rather than a trailer how indicative is this for the animation in the actual series? Because what I saw looked fantastic and I would love for the series to actually look like this.
Like c'mon, a dark fantasy Yuri with legit action scenes that looks this good. Is that even allowed?
I'm also surprised its seems to be sexually explicit, on one hand these scenes can and likely will fall into male gaze; on the other hand not many romance anime, let alone yuri; actually get this far, at least the ones I've seen.

I hope it looks as good in production as the preview. The story is solid and the cast seems pretty spot on from what I pictured reading the manga.
I'm pretty excited...hope it doesn't let me down.

If the series holds up to what we're seeing in the preview, this looks very promising.

Upon checking the studio's portfolio, this is only their second TV anime production after Love Is Indivisible by Twins. Their other works were mostly key animations.
While I do agree that the preview looks really good (and steamy), I'll keep my expectation in check.

Roll2 is represented by Kazuaki Oochi, a former White Fox production manager, meaning he certainly has good connections to pull from. Although this quality is very unlikely to stay in the actual TV anime, don't judge a studio solely based on how many works they made.

Dark Fantasy Yuri + All-Star Cast + Jukki Hanada + Explicit Lesbian Sex = Recipe for success.
Especially if the animation ends up looking as good as in that pilot trailer.
