I think it's worth mentioning that on top of her 21 songs for Detective Conan, she also performed two ending songs for 2010-2012 Magic Kaito specials, which are also related to Detective Conan franchise. Pretty impressive, indeed. Congratulation to this well deserved Guinness World Record award.

The MK special thing doesn't really count since it was basically a branch from the Conan weekly anime. TMS probably felt there was no need to change the openings/endings since it was airing with the rest of the Conan eps, especially with the Summer of Kid which had 2 heists from DC and then 2 eps with adaptions of the MK manga.

Congrats to her. I wish my favorite singers could do that for that long with the anime I like. Well, they actually do. Like angela with Fafner (they do all the OP and ED themes plus insert songs), but Fafner takes so damn long when it comes to getting a sequel the numbers are lower than it should be.

Her along with Garnet Crow and B'z are the most prolific DC singers.
Her best OP and ED are Try Again and Always respectfully.

This might be untouchable. Even series that can challenge the episode count of DC don't change songs as often or keep changing artists. Maybe Rica Matsumoto in Pokemon has half of that if you count everything as one series.

It's a shame Garnet Crow disbanded back in 2013; they were quite enjoyable to listen to! Glad B'z is still around though. I wonder if they'll have a chance to perform at the 2020 Olympics???
Personally I found I enjoyed Dynamite over Try Again. Always definitely deserves best Mai Kuraki ending theme though. (Although what was with the Nazca line thing going on in the ending animation for the show?)

Wow, congrats!
My favorite DC singer is without a doubt, Zard with Sakai Izumi-san as vocal, but Kuraki has been my steady fourth favorite after Garnet Crow and B'z. Her best song for me is Time after time, the 7th movie's theme song. It was so soothing!

A big Congratulations to Ms. Kuraki-san for making it to the World Records! I'm sure that her World Record will remain present in the books for the foreseeable future.
