If FUNimation doesn't license this, I'll be VERY surprised.
I mean come on. A video game adaptation... produced by GONZO... from the director of Afro Samurai.
Along with shonen and fanservice shows, this type of thing is FUNi's bread & butter.
Now we get to guess who they're going to replace the original cast with.

Now this is something I never expected would happen in relation to a game. Regardless of all the "negativity" associated with the game from "certain groups" which I'll not state, I actually kind of enjoyed the game for what it was. So I do want to see this feature. Hell, the game's music was a selling point for me when I picked up the album. Curious to know who's composing the score for the feature. It looks better than the Highlander anime. Sorry. But I am looking forward to this little piece of eyecandy of a guilty pleasure.

Is there a market for this? I'm only vaguely familiar with the game; it's big enough to receive a film?
I guess you could have also asked if there was a market for Afro Samurai, prior to Sam Jackson's and RZA's involvement. It was a short doujinshi from the '90s. Maybe the English version of this will have celebrity voice casting as well?

Hope whoever licenses it uses the original voices.

Can't wait.
That would be really nice if they do.

This actually looks decent and true to the source unlike the crappy DMC anime. :-\

Was thinking exactly the same thing right from the first few frames. Animation and character designs look good, so add me to those hoping it gets a N.A. release. Liked how the music suddenly switched to jazz at the very end.

Not much info I can find yet but I could swear the music sounds like the work of Yoko Kanno but I'm probably wrong.
