Fans of physical releases won't have too long to wait - with the retail release of Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 hitting on the 12th of June 2025

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is the newest title in the gothic-inspired 2D action series. However, this time the sequel expands further on the original release - boasting a full metroidvania experience set in the entirety of the Demon Realm!

Play as both Kirika and Masha, two new sisters with entirely different playstyles - which players can switch between in order to best the huge map's many enemies and challenges.

• Gal*Gun-vania: Now a fully-realized metroidvania, uncover countless combos and possibilities as you explore the Demon Realm with your two upgradeable characters.
  
• Revive Your Allies: Each of Maxim's vassals you find and revive will strengthen your home base, the Demon Lord's castle! As you rebuild, unlock bonus features which assist you on your quest for revenge.
  
• Sister Power: Kirika and Masha, the two sister maid heroines, each bring their own unique gameplay styles. One attacks with demonic guns whilst the other covers close range attacks with her whip!
  
• Couch and Online Co-op: Play together locally or online, each player controlling a sister, opening up countless possibilities to discover new places or defeat difficult enemies through teamwork.
  
• Collect and Craft: Defeating enemies and discovering chests will earn you random drops of consumable items, sub-weapons, and even passive enhancements called "Demon Relics". Use these items to unlock new special abilities needed to access new areas of the map.
  
• Choose your "Style": Inheriting the "Style" system of its predecessor, you can choose to play "Casual", "Veteran", or "Ultimaid" modes, available to switch between at any time with unified content across all modes.

EXPLORE THE DEMON REALM AND COLLECT MOUNTAINS OF LOOT!
Search for hidden passages, trap doors, and solve puzzles throughout the Demon Realm to collect the scattered bones of the Demon Lord Maxim.

Unlock sub-weapons and abilities for our two heroines, Kirika and Masha, to open up new routes and strategies. Try every tool at your disposal to succeed!

Maxim's vassals are scattered around the Demon Realm! Find and revive them to help strengthen your home base, the Demon Lord's castle. As you rebuild, they will provide bonus support features to assist you in your quest.

Random drops from enemies and treasure chests will earn you consumable items, sub-weapons, and passive enhancements called "Demon Relics". Use these items to unlock new special abilities for the sisters and access new areas of the map!

Sub-weapons can be combined and crafted to customize their power, making use of items you wouldn't otherwise need. Gather, craft and enhance to your hearts content!

CO-OP ACTION WITH MULTIPLE PLAY STYLES!
Older sister Kirika attacks from a distance with demonic guns while her younger sister Masha covers close ranges with her whip. Spend demonic energy to attack with different sub-weapons and switch between the two sisters as the situation changes.

Two player co-op play is available both local and online! With each player controlling one of the sisters, work together to traverse the castle and open your options up!

Servants of the Dark inherits the "Style" system of its predecessor, allowing you choose between "Casual," "Veteran," and "Ultimaid" depending on your preferences.

Switch Styles at any time in the game menu, all of the game's content is available no matter what you choose.
