I think it would be nice to have a link in the profiles that would take you to "My Anime" of that person. Also I think a link at the bottom of someone post next to the profile and pm button would be nice. Just a thought. Tell me what you think.

I agree with Chris that this really is not all that good of an idea. It would just make more work for the moderators and plus why would you want to check out other people's "My Anime?" --Just curious.

I think many would prefer you to not go around and repeating what someone else has already said, you are not adding anything to the topics. In this case Tempest never even said it was a bad idea, he actually said that it was in the works. Also how would something like this make more work for moderators? It doesn't have anything to do with a moderator's job.
Since you actually have a question in this topic I'll answer.
Personally, I like looking through public lists to get ideas for other shows to watch. But I think that it is also a curiosity to see what other people have to say about a show I enjoyed or didn't like. And sometimes also just to see who else has seen a certain show.
And I'm sure there are other reasons for people to look at public lists, those are just mine. If there was no use for them, why would they be called "Public" lists? And why would someone choose the option for making his/her list public if they didn't want anyone looking at it?
These are all rhetorical questions, I don't need answers.
