This looks like their retelling the original Graphic Novel origin story.
The animation looks good, i just i hope they didn't leave too much of the fun out of the story for the anime. Dead serious will hinder it for me since having manga for last what...20 years now? |

Latest promo just makes me want to see these OVA's that much more. The detailed backgrounds, the character designs, the music...all add up to what I think will be a quality extension of the GITS franchise. I don't doubt that it will get a North American release, complete with an English dub and on BD. Even if it takes a year or two, I can patiently wait.
