This looks to be very promising. I'm going to have to look into getting the special edition for this one.

I chuckled at how odd that sounds. I'm pretty sure the proper term is "tetralogy," but I can't be sure since "tri" is used in both Latin and Greek (if nothing else, it certainly sounds better than "quadrilogy").

tetralogy is what I've seen used more often with four book series (or the generic, non-number specific saga, or occasionally quartet).

Ok. I've seen me some baaaad Engrish in my days, but not one that's almost impossible to pronounce!
How and why are the only questions currently active in my head In fact, I'm gonna make a request right now of the site's administration: I demand that my username be changed to "John Casey the 3nd".

Too many Eva games seem to draw inspiration solely from the episode where Asuka and Shinji learn a dance routine rather than kids in monster mechs running around a city beating the living crap out of monsters.
One day some one will make the Eva game of my dreams or at least one in genre that makes sense considering what the actual show is about.

You have no idea how impossibly varied the interpretations can be about your last sentence...
"Giant robots blowing shit up? ...Ok, how about a psychological analysis of the teenage mind? ...Not that either? Ok, how about a philosophical interpretation of the ramifications of psyche assimilation? ...Not that either? Alien invasion? No? Government conspiracy? Ah, screw it! Let's just pick a genre and be done with it...? Fighting game? Well, RPG could work? How bout a strategy game? Maybe a psychological adventure game? ...No? Ok, how about a puzzle game? No? Maybe a rail shooter? ...Simulation? Dance rhythm! DAMMIT! Dance rhythm it is!"

This actually sounds awesome. Yamaoka is a god in video game music. I blast the Silent Hill soundtracks frequently in my car .
