It's a real shame that Astro Boy didn't do well. I saw it in the cheap theatres and found it to be very charming and well done. It's a shame it was released when it was. There had to be a better place to release it.
Here's hoping Gatchaman does better.

That does suck. I kept meaning to go see Astro Boy, but kept forgetting, and it was out of theaters before I got to see it. At least they haven't given up on Gatchaman.
Too bad the next TMNT movie won't be done by them, it woulda been good for them.

Perhaps expected after the movie disaster, but it's sad to see it come to fruition and actually happen and of course sad to see people lose work.

What I find sad is that the animators were fired when it was the marketing and writers fault that the movie tanked.
