DEATH NOTE Killer Within introduces two additional roles in a new update!
DEATH NOTE Killer Within, the online social deduction game,welcomes two new roles: Watari and the NPA Chief. Until now, five roles were available in the game: L and his investigators, Kira and his follower and Mello. The two new roles are both members of L's team which makes the game even more challenging for Kira and his team to remain undetected!

Watari, L's trusted handler and assistant in the anime, plays an equally crucial role in the game. From the very start, he and L are aware of each other's identities. With a transceiver at his disposal, he can discreetly exchange critical information with L, giving him an edge and driving the investigation forward. Kira will have to be more careful and strategic as well because the rest of the players will be notified if Watari dies, making it easier for them to figure out who Kira is.
The second role is the National Police Agency Chief, Soichiro Yagami, whose first and only goal is to fight for justice. While playing this role, the player has the ability to call for an emergency meeting and end the action phase at any time. However, this can only be done once per game and cannot be used while a Kira Command Card is in effect.
Finally, new downloadable content is available including a set containing the premium avatar of Soichiro Yagami wearing pyjamas with a Snot Bubble and a Nightcap. With the Premium Customisation Track Vol. 4, players can get a variety of customisation parts and rewards as they gain levels, such as both the Watari and Soichiro Yagami avatars, the “Japanese Police Set” pets, nameplates, voiced cut-ins and different accessories.
