I picked up Deadman Wonderland because I was a fan of Kataoka and Kondou's Eureka Seven adaptation, and I will say one good and one bad thing about it.

First, it is a really interesting story, and pretty original. However, it uses the hyper-violence way too much; reading it just made my stomach squirm. If the anime keeps the same hyper-violence, I will skip it. I have no desire to ever see those images again. If the anime tones it down, this could be quite good.

Generally series that on run on TV (vs. OVAs) have cut out some of the violence from their manga origins, though with the precedent of Shigurui and Gantz, who knows anymore?

Sweet!
I don't think I was actually this excited since I saw the announcement for the Seikon no Qwaser anime. And Alive. And Aoi Hana...

At any rate, this looks like it will be really good.
