I caught the first few episodes of the anime back in 2008, and although I felt the first episode was unique and successfully creepy, episodes two and three seemed to have lost the vibe. Maybe I'll pick up the new Yen Plus issue to see if the manga version is any different.

As much as I dislike Yen+ (way too expensive for one or two manga I like), but this makes me want to pick it up!

I'm always amused at the number of times people get my three letter online name wrong. Usually it's misspelled as LLK. This is the first time I've seen it spelled as LYK though. Laughing

For the record, my online name is spelled L K K.

Yes, yes, YES!

Won't buy the mag, but I assume this will segue into their published manga line as well. I will definitely be buying that.

Heck yeah! Anime catgrin

I was gonna pick up this latest issue for the Maximum Ride cover/poster, anyway - but now I definitely am!

I too started with the anime, and because of that, I ended up hating the series as a whole and almost ended up missing out on this wonderful series. Or at least, I think so Embarassed . The manga version was what made me get into Kuroshitsuji, so I'd definitely read the manga over watch the anime.

Not interested in buying the magazine since that's way too much of an investment for me to buy a mag just for a title or two, but if this means that I'll eventually be able to have Kuroshitsuji up on my shelves I will be so freaking happy.

I am way too happy right now.
It got licensed much sooner than I expected~!
I had a feeling that Yen Press would be the one to pick it up.

I usually find the original manga an anime is made from to be a superior experience & this is no exception to that rule.
I'm glad it's Yen Press. Their graphic novels are pretty nice overall & we don't get the worry of it being abandoned by someone like TP since it's on-going in Japan. Only issue will be length of time between the graphic novel releases. I might actually have to subscribe to Yen Press now,

I'll just wait for the manga volumes to come out instead of buying a magazine
