(The) Drifting Classroom (manga) |
Excellent |
What a frightful story. Young children stuck in a world with nothing but their school and a waste land with man eating monsters. This story might not be new now (Load of the Flies and etc) but this was written in the 70s. It also looks like it was drawn in the 70s but that didn't stop me from putting it down. Though the open gapping mouths in every panel was kinda funny. |

Fall in love like a comic! (manga) |
So-so |
Wow... I'm trying to come back to comment on all of these, but I really don't remember much about this one. I remember the girl and her job, she was kinda a cute character... I guess this is why I gave it a so-so rating. |

It started out good and has potential to have a fun story. Sadly it was rushed which he explained why in the manga. If he does it over again, I would support it. |

As short as this one is, I loved it. It might of gone longer and I most likely would of loved that, but it might of lost some of it's charm that way. I laugh out loud on how rude she is to the other girls but feel for her on how much she wants a female friend. I love the guy too. he just acts like your gay male friend, but isn't gay (I have a friend like that). It's just your fun short story. I would buy it if it ever comes to America. |

How I enjoy this one. I read it so fast, I'm so surprise how much I remember about it. I've read it again for the fun of it. First, I just love the characters, they are funny, but can also be serious. Actually the whole story like that. It's fun and light hearted but can get dramatic and deep too. It's also interesting seeing the kids learning and growing to quite young adults. You really are growing up with them. However, is it realistic? meh probably not, but it was a whole hell of fun to read. |
(The) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (manga) |
Decent |
Aww Link is so darn cute but thats it. It felt like fanfic recap of the game. It had the story but it jumps around and throws in a bunch of lame gimmicks? I guess thats what I will call it... or more like fan service gimmicks. |

I'm glad she came back even after 10 years to finish the story. At first I had a good rating, but now that it is actually finish I enjoyed it even more. It's a nice little romance with vampires and werewolves. And yes, it is better than Twilight (shorter too). |
Moon Boy (manhwa) |
Excellent |
I just love this one! It's because it's stupid, but fun and interesting at the same time. I liked the magical girl world (and look, everyone is pretty) but with characters talking like it's an action shonen. The story makes sense, but it's stupid as well (bunny people living on the moon). Each volume comes with posters, I have all of them on my wall. |
My Girlfriend's a Geek (manga) |
Very good |
How I learned so much otaku language from this one. I also get that "too close to home" feeling from it too. I've asked my boyfriend to try some butler role-playing (and for a geek, you think he be more willing... sigh), or ask him to go shopping with me and have him see me get all fangirl over anime things he can't understand. It's fun for the otaku inside (maybe mostly for the girl otakus). |
My Little Monster (manga) |

Puella Magi Madoka Magica (manga) |

The anime is wonderful and should watch that first. However, this complements the anime by explaining things that you might of missed. |

Rave Master (manga) |

This would have a higher rating if it didn't have that crapy "one year later" ending. It was the worst ending ever for me. Other than that, it was a fun read. |
Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire (manga) |
Good |
It was a fun read, but nothing special. it also doesn't add anything much to the Resident Evil franchise. i did enjoy it more than playing the 6th game alone. |
Sensei no Okiniiri! (manga) |
Decent |
I feel really dirty reading this one, and I don't think I want to read something like this again. However, something had me read it to the end. Maybe it was a little sexy, I don't know. |
Socrates in Love (manga) |
Very good |
What a sad, touching story that was able to tell it in one volume. The pacing was great and the feelings were genuine. I didn't read the light novel but it felt like a great adaption of the book. |

Spiral: The Bonds of Reasoning (manga) |

Stray Dog (manga) |

Suki: A Like Story (manga) |
Good |
Clamp is best at romance. It's a sweet story between a high schooler girl and her teacher/neighbor. They made the story work and not too gimmicky. Also it didn't feel creepy at all that he was twice her age. The only parts I really wasn't into was the story books parts. I understand why they had them but it wasn't interesting at all. |
Tale of A White Night (manga) |

Train Man: Densha Otoko (manga) |

Uzumaki (manga) |

I can never look at spirals the same way again. This is one of the rare manga that really make you creep out, but really want to know what's going on. I highly recommend it. |
Wish (manga) |
Very good |
What a sweet story, and one of Clamp's best (that I've read so far). The story not confusing, the art is simple enoght for me to read everything, and the story stands on it's own without crossing over with another Clamp story (however Wish does cross over with another story later on). It was a relaxing story, I liked it! |
