I believe we are saying a couple of swan song volumes on the list this week. Inuyasha as mentioned in the article, and Nosatsu Junkie to my recollection has finished as well. So now everybody knows what to look for when it comes to how many volumes of Inuyasha there truly are, so for the English version fans, you have a ways to go.

The way Viz is releasing Inuyasha at 4 volumes a year;it will take another 5 years!Only the hardcore fans will stick with it most will just move on to her new project. The ones i really feel sorry for even more are the One Piece fans .They all may have one foot in the grave by the time the series is over the way Viz is releasing it.

Ichigo Mashimaro volume 6 ranked at number 28!
I presume that's rather high for a niche moé comedy title. I hope that it doesn't take Tokyopop nearly as long to bring us Strawberry Marshmallow volume 6 in English as they did with volume 5.

Yeah, I was gonna say, not even close to 100K. Negima fans were split on what to buy. Volume 25, regular plus limited, sold 233K+ copies, only about 30K less than Holic. I'm just happy to see that Gantz is still doing well.

And I am from a few minutes further in the future than you. I know your fate.

the Bleach manga's ending may have been less then stellar but at least in terms of sales of the final volume, not bad just under One piece but that's a given

Not bad? It had a 60,000 unit drop from the wk1 of volume 73. And I suspect it would've been higher if Shueisha hadn't added those bonus collectible cards that had many buying doubles, triples or more. Sure it could've been way worse given the overall disatisfaction towards the ending, but final volumes are expected to increase sales, not bomb them

Yeah it's not bad at all considering that those numbers are only for two days and not for the whole week and considering the stupidity and stubbornness of most of the Ichi-Rukia fans. and about the "bonuses" they don't really exist, the cards you are talking about are not from Shueisha directly, it's from certain shops that do that to encourage you to buy the volumes from their stores (they do that all the time with Kadokawa comics too).
and if I remember correctly almost all final volumes (except kochikame, for many obvious reasons) do the same as the previous volumes in sale in-fact some of them do less.
