So I don't know how this live-action J-drama adaptation will do, but if it does well in Japan and stream globally (I'm hoping for that), I hope this can lead to maybe foreign countries picking up remake/adaptation rights like for example South Korea, & USA. I mean why not, Japan remade The Good Doctor, & The Good Wife (yes, The Good Wife has received many foreign remakes/adaptations around the world, Japan is one of them), so it should be fair game for Ameku M.D to get a South Korean, and an American remake (if it get an American remake, is there a way David Shore, the creator of House M.D, and The Good Doctor's American remake can be trusted and handled a hypothetical Ameku M.D's American remake), so it should be fair game for USA and South Korea (& maybe other countries to remake/adapt Ameku M.D for their market).
If South Korea ever remake Ameku M.D, I want the team and the production companies that handled The Good Doctor K-drama original to handled the Ameku M.D's K-drama remake if that ever happened. |
