So again the movie is exclusive to japan and the rest of the world has to wait 1-2 months?
Why are they gatekeeping it again?

Is pirating the movie really the only way to watch it subtitled for someone living in Japan? Shocked

Looking forward to this! Everything is still fresh enough in my mind that I won't feel the need to rewatch the last batch of episodes.

Compare to olden days when we basically can't see most of these theatrical release until they come out on DVD/BD(if at all), most the new popular anime films nowadays gets often time same year release, subbed and dubbed most of the time. Its much improved compared to the past...

Look forward to the films, manga have finished for a while and ufotable is free to flex its muscle to make some cool spectacles.

Because releasing it internationally opposite Superman and The Fantastic Four wouldn’t end well. September is a much quieter month film-wise.

These films can't come fast enough. An amazing series, and what I know is coming will be an amazing endgame.

Unless they have the pull of a major studio, they can't force theater owners all around the world to synchronize. They're lower in the totem pole, and theater owners may prioritize other films at certain dates
