I hate to see any layoffs for anyone in any environment/industry, but especially printed media. Sad days on multiple levels lately...

And yet Dark Horse was able to licensed this manga today on the same day of this announcement of layoffs. |

Good. Now maybe they'll free the Eromanga Sensei series to a publisher that will actually publish all volumes, lol

Good. Good. Great. Excellent.
DarkHorse been on the down turn since few years ago when Embracer Group (notorious WEF activism implementor) bought them, hollowed them out, and started pushing woke/DIE agenda which had them removing politically incorrect comics and promoting agenda-compliant material. Well-deserved consequences. On a side-note, OMG I can't believe someone still runs phpBB in the [current year] post 2010. I'm surprised you haven't been hacked to death with how outdated, terribly insecure, the codebase is. I used to love these forums. They were so easy to modify and operate. Compared to vBulletin (which was a good and powerful system, but horribly modder-unfriendly). There was also Ubulletin IIRC, and Invision, PowerBoard, and a few others worthy of mentioning. This is so Y2K blast from the past. Last edited by OriKlein on Sat Feb 15, 2025 4:57 pm; edited 1 time in total |
