I hate to see any layoffs for anyone in any environment/industry, but especially printed media. Sad days on multiple levels lately...

And yet Dark Horse was able to licensed this manga today on the same day of this announcement of layoffs. |

Good. Now maybe they'll free the Eromanga Sensei series to a publisher that will actually publish all volumes, lol
