I'm certainly not gonna expect this to come stateside. That music alone is probably not cleared for license overseas. Very interesting they're using the sprites from the Digivice V watches.

As noted in the article, overseas pre-orders started on Thursday, with music intact:

Sorry, I should have rephrased it as being released with English. I can imagine the folks that watched the subs, this probably is perfectly fine, but to pay so much and have to expect a language barrier, it sours me just enough as to not enjoy it as much as I'd like to.
The Digivice Vs are usually universal with their UI and easy enough to figure out, but these replicas from the show, when they've released them in the past, they are very obtuse without translation. While I can understand 70% of most spoken Japanese at any given time, I was raised on the dub and Agumon's JP is absolutely grating on the ears.

Do you mean localizing the device to replace the Japanese voices and music with the English music and voices? I'm not sure something like that is feasible or profitable. These kinds of things are already niche enough so only the most hardcore collectors would get them, and I doubt many of those kinds of hardcore fans would fall into the preferring the English dub camp. It's probably way too much work for little return. They don't even do that for music CDs or character songs which would be easier and not require a prop toy to be made.
