Hmm...I don't do much streaming, but when I feel the urge, Avex TV is the only place I go. If you have broadband, check it out.
As for buying JPOP CDs, online retailers give you several great options: Anime Nation CD Japan Planet Anime Animaxis Good luck! |

A great place to check out J-Pop and anime music is at Japan-a-Radio. They stream anime music, as well as the latest J-Pop stars, so you might want to check it out.

Another good place for streaming music is www.live365.com. Just do a search for anime or jpop or whatever to get a selection of stations.

*Plugs his station because some evil demon inside of him told to.* Woot Anime Radio. I try to keep the music up to date (I do the anime side, the other DJ does the J-Pop.), live shows on Friday (Looking at Saturday with yours truely.), and other cool stuff (Working on it.).
Here's the catch with Live 365, you have to sign up. You can listen for free or pay $4.95 a month (You get no ads, pop-ups, blah, blah, blah.) and something to play it on (Winamp, Real Player, 365 Player.) Shoutcast has a decent amount of stations and is for free, but you need Winamp or something to listen to it on.[/url] |

If you read Japanese, or know someone who does, go directly to www.amazon.co.jp, because they have the normal market price for everything and an amazing selection. They do ship to America as well... however I would recomend buying a couple things at once to make it worth while. Never did the math for music CD`s but, I know atleast for Manga, it makes itself worth while if you order atleast 3 volumes (compared to the price of US import retailers, so I`m kinda assuming that CD`s are somewhat similar)

I'm currently have a pending Amazon.jp order. While it will get to my house maybe a day earlier, the shipping at CD Japan IS cheaper.
The only reason I chose Amazon for this order was because they offer 15% off of most pre-order DVD's. |
