I haven't gotten a chance to read Barefoot Gen but that was a really touching letter. I hope President Obama actually gets the opportunity to read it

Not much to say from me. The letter is well written and perfectly captures the hope that nuclear weapons are never used again. I have never read Barefoot Gen either, but I should.

It's a very big coincidence, but sometimes things work that way. I hope this letter reaches Obama and inspires him even further to pursue the ideal of a world without atomic bombs.
Barefoot Gen is a must read manga. I definitely encourage everyone to check it out. |

That was a beautiful letter from Mr. Nakazawa-san to President Obama showcasing the yearning for world peace.
 I should get around to reading Barefoot Gen sometime soon.

Wonderful letter. It's kinda sad the author didn't live long to meet President Obama.
But let's hope his letter did reach the President. |

Would be more helpful if it made it to the NEXT president at this point as it won't be Obama in 6 more months. Still a very well written and meaningful letter none the less.

Because Hilary Clinton gives a fudge about human lives. Good plan. Yes I am assuming Donald trump is not gonna win. And while that's not a bad thing, Hilary Clinton winning is a much worse thing if you are informed about her. America has a problem either way and with presidents like Hilary there won't be a world without nuclear weapons anytime soon |

Did I say she did? I simply said it's not as helpful going to Obama as he's gone soon as opposed to the next president who will be there for 4 years. So spare us the OT political rant and cut the unwarranted passive aggressive snark. |
