I can't think of anything that's exactly like it, but maybe, maybe Hellsing is somewhere in the neighborhood. Other than all the vampires and secret orginization hunting them down, those are probably the only things even remotely similar to WHR that I know of right now.

I believe there was a manga or anime that started the "Gothic Lolita" genre but I forgot the name. |

yeah, hellsing may be somewhere around witch hunter robin status, but if we are going to say hellsing that lets also agree upon vampire princess miyu, or any of the vampire hunter D movies

pergaps but WHR is quite removed from these titles as well, apart from being gothic and supernatural they dont have that much in common really.
(also none of them have anyone as attractive as robin...) |

This depend on what type of person you are. If you're the action type of fan and shows like Ninja scroll or naruto rock because of the action, than WR or WHR won't fit the bill. If you're lookng for something more insightful than these are good. They're both slow paced show, so if you get bored easily than you're probalby not going to like it. |

Yeah, you have to be a litle more patient and enjoy good character development to enjoy both shows, same is true for .hack/SIGN.
I'd suggest, that and maybe the 3X3 Eyes OAVs. |

If you are going off of 'dark' and 'supernatural' then Boogiepop Phantom is a must.
Perhaps Soul Taker as well. |

It's one of those series where you have to be patience, just like an Online RPG, it takes time to build up the character. |
