If you're into rock at all get the FLCL OSTs. They are done by a Japanese band called The Pillows. The Pillows are great and have quite a few studio albums that IMO, are even better than the FLCL OST. They have a sort of indie-grunge sound that's heavily influenced by The Pixies.

Like mentioned before, anything by Yoko Kanno.
Umm probably gonna get kicked for it, but anything by Yasunori Mitsuda, who does videogames such as Chrono Cross/Tirgger, Xenosaga, ect. >.> He really needs to get into doing some anime music. *would worship whatever anime he would do, no matter how much it sucked* The inu yasha OSTs are nice if you like instrumentals with orient flaire. |
